ARTICLE I: REGULATIONS

Direction and management of play and use of the courts are under the authority and control of the Tennis Committee. Duties and authority are delegated to the Tennis Director and Tennis Professionals.

Members and adults (19 and over) on family memberships have preference over juniors (18 and under) except on the hard courts at all times. In the event of inclement weather, adults will have priority on all courts.

All players must wear acceptable tennis attire. No tank tops or cutoff shorts. All players must wear shirts.
|

|
All players must wear regulation tennis shoes. Basketball shoes are not allowed on the clay courts. Running shoes are not allowed on any of the courts.

Playing time of two hours for singles and for doubles when other players are waiting. Juniors (18 and under) may sign up for hard courts at all times for one hour singles and doubles. Juniors may signup for other courts when not in use but are subject to being bumped by adults.

Adults may reserve courts as much as a week in advance. Contact the pro shop by phone or in person during business hours or leave a message during non-business hours.

|
|
NOTE: A court reservation will only be held for fifteen (15) minutes past your reservation time. At that time, your court can be subject to forfeiture. In order to guarantee your reservation, you must notify the pro shop in the event you will be running late. Court reservations may not be made before 9:00 AM on any day.

Players may appear on reservation sheet only once at any time. Another reservation for the same day is allowed after completion of playing time. Players who have finished one playing time have no bumping rights for the remainder of the day.

Individuals may not use a court alone if two or more persons are waiting to play.
|

|
Junior members (18 and under) will be entitled to adult preference only while playing on the court with an adult or with paying guest.
|
|
10.
|
The ball machine may be used on ½ hour and hourly basis for $5.00 and $10.00 respectively. Hours are Monday through Saturday noon (12) until six (6) PM and Sunday from 1:30 - 5:00 PM. You may reserve the ball machine one day in advance.

Members must register their guests in the Pro Shop prior to play.

Guest fees are set at $10.00 per day, Junior guest fee is $5.00 (18 yrs and under). Guests are limited to 8 visits per calendar year.

13.
|
Any member found to be in violation of established regulations may be suspended from use of the courts by the Tennis Committee for a period of not more than 30 days.
|
|
14.
|
The Tennis Professionals shall have a teaching court for use at all times.
|
|
15.
|
These regulations (may be amended or supplemented from time to time by the Tennis Committee.
